Q01. What does rein do for my store?
Your customers get an itemized digital receipt for every sale. The cashier scans their rein pass after the sale; that is the only new step.
Q02. Is rein available for my register?
Clover registers. The ones rein works with are listed on this page.
Q03. Do I need new hardware?
No. rein is an app on the Clover register you already have. It uses the scanner if there is one; if not, the cashier types the customer’s rein ID. The customer can also claim the receipt later in their rein app.
Q04. What if a customer forgets to scan?
They can claim the purchase later in their app by date and amount.
Q05. Can I disconnect rein?
Yes, from your store dashboard, or by uninstalling rein from Clover. Disconnecting alone leaves rein installed on Clover until you uninstall it from the Clover App Market. Either way your customers keep their receipts and your rein account stays.
Q06. Can I delete my rein account?
Yes, from your account settings. One account covers your receipts, your register and your dashboard, so deleting it disconnects your store too.
