ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

These Terms of Service govern your use of rein, operated by reinLabs (“rein”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use rein. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

03.

THE SERVICE

rein lets you capture, organize, edit, and search your purchase receipts. The Service includes:

—The rein web app, where you can view, edit, search, and delete receipts and download them as PDFs

—Mobile apps for capturing receipts with your camera and managing them on the go

—A browser extension that captures an order-confirmation page as a receipt when you click capture

—An optional email forwarding address: we receive and process the receipt emails you forward to it. rein never connects to or reads your email inbox — we only receive what you choose to forward.

—AI features that extract structured data from receipts, answer your questions, and surface spending insights

Receipt extraction uses AI and can make mistakes. Review extracted data before relying on it for taxes, returns, expense reports, or other important purposes. rein is a recordkeeping tool, not financial, tax, or legal advice.

YOUR ACCOUNT

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized use.

YOUR CONTENT

Your receipts remain yours. You grant rein a limited license to host, process, and display your content — solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your receipts or questions to train AI models, and we do not sell your data. This license ends for content you delete, subject to the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to upload the content you submit.

ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

—Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or upload fraudulent, misleading, or infringing content

—Attempt to access another user's data or probe, disable, or overload the Service

—Reverse engineer the Service or use automated tools to scrape or bulk-extract from it

—Resell the Service or circumvent its usage limits

FAIR USE AND SERVICE LIMITS

rein is currently free. To keep it available to everyone, usage limits apply — currently including daily receipt scans, daily AI question capacity, and hourly and daily caps on forwarded emails and insight refreshes. Current limits are shown in the app where they apply.

We may change these limits, and we may introduce paid tiers in the future. We will communicate significant changes through the app or website.

08.

SERVICE CHANGES

We may update, add, or remove features. You will be informed of major changes through the app or the rein website.

09.

TERMINATION

You may stop using rein and delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform. On account deletion, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10.

DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee its availability, the accuracy of extracted or AI-generated content, or its suitability for your specific needs.

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

How we collect and handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

12.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

When we change these Terms, we update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will notify you through the app or website before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
